  1. Cut the panels to the desired length. Most panels come up to 32 feet (9.8 m) in length. Allow for a minimum of 18 inches (46 cm) if you need to lap to complete the run.
  2. Pre-drill holes on the ridges. Some panels have pre-drilled holes. If yours do not, then you will need to drill holes in them. Use a 316 in (4.8 mm) drill bit. Spacing for the holes on the ends and sides of the panels should be 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 cm).
  3. Install the panels. Place them directly onto purlins that are attached to the roof trusses, beginning on the outside edge Close or seal off the ends with a wood or plastic strip under the panel at each end. These will stop the entry of rain, wind, and pests.
  4. Screw down the panels. Pre-drill the holes, and use 10 by 2 in (25.4 by 5.1 cm) screws with polycarbonate washers. Continue across the roof until it is completely covered, lapping over the previous panel by at least 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) minimum. Adjust the lap so that the last panel completes the coverage without making a cut lengthwise.

The corrugated colour coated sheets coating is a product obtained by subjecting a cold rolled steel sheet or a galvanized steel sheet to a surface chemical treatment (roll coating) or a composite organic coating (such as a PVC coating) and then baking and curing.

  1. The corrosion resistance of galvalume steel roofing sheets is 3 to 5 times that of corrugated galvanized steel sheets, and the more severe the corrosion, the greater the difference. Therefore, in the construction roof, corrugated galvalume steel sheets AZ150 should be preferred.If corrugated galvanized steel sheets are used, it should not be lower than Z275, and its service life is much lower than that of AZ150. Therefore, Australia and other countries have clearly stipulated that if corrugated galvanized steel sheets are used as roofing (wall), Z450 must be used.
  2. AZ150 is about 10-20% more expensive than Z275, but its corrosion resistance is 3~5 times.so corrugated galvalume steel sheets has excellent performance and cost performance.

Color coated corrugated steel sheet is an alloy, not pure iron, but some elements such as carbon and manganese are added, so it becomes very hard, and the proportion of alloy can be changed according to different needs, so as to achieve different purposes. The cold bending process of color steel plate is similar to the bending process, but different from the rolling process.

It belongs to a special production method. As the yield strength of steel will be increased during cold working deformation, it can generally be increased by 10% – 15%, and some can be increased by 20%. Therefore, the color steel tile manufactured by this gradual deformation method has light weight and high strength.
